Analog Film B&W Development - Private Workshop (1-on-1, Luxembourg Only)

A private in-depth course in Analog B&W Film Development. (300 Euro Total, the 100 Euro is initial Deposit see below)

Teaching you how to use the Stand-Development Technique which is not that well known, since most of the companies selling you developing chemicals, would rather you use the more common method in which you need to waste a lot of chemicals to develop your film, significantly increasing the amount of waste you produce & how often you need to repurchase new chemicals.

The standard method uses a 1:25 ratio of developer for 1 Film. Which equates to around 11.5ml (for 35mm Film) / 23ml (for Medium Format 120 Film).

Using the Stand-Development technique we are using a dilution of 1:100, which only requires 3ml (for a 35mm) or 6ml for (Medium Format).

What you receive:

• Private Lesson in the comfort of your own home ( If you have a neutral space available & prefer that, that works fine too, or if you prefer I can invite you to my Place but only if you are okay with Dogs.)

• A complete starter Kit with everything you need to develop your own Film & which you get to keep.
  The kit contains:
  - a Paterson two film tank with two spirals
  - a thermometer
  - an Adox 25 ml Rodinal measuring cylinder
  - an Adox 1000 ml measuring cup
  - 100 ml of ADONAL film developer
  - 100 ml of ADOFIX Fixer
  - 50 ml of ADOFLO wetting agent
  - an exposed film in order to practise the film spooling process

• The Course should take roughly 2-3 Hours, but Time is not a limit, if we need longer due to questions wanting to be answered that is perfectly fine.

VERY IMPORTANT:

Total Price of Course is 300 Euro.
The 100 Euro is the Deposit since I will be acquiring all the materials needed for the Workshop once you make a reservation. The rest of the payment can be done on the day of the Workshop. (If you wish to make it more affordable, you can invite more people to the workshop ideally max 3, each additional person is a 100 Euro. So instead of 300 for 1 Person, you will be paying a total of 400 split by two people(200Eur per Person) or a total of 500 split by three.

The deposits for each attending person must be paid in advance.
If you wish to reserve for more persons, then simply change the quantity to the number of people you wish to register for the course. Ideally no more than 3 since otherwise it will become logistically difficult.

I’ll also need about 2 weeks advance notice, so that I can collect all the materials necessary for the course.

I do not accept refunds on deposits if you suddenly decide to cancel, but we can adjust the date of the workshop, if the date we agree upon for some reason becomes not possible for you!!!

Each person that registers for a course receives a full developing kit to take home with them.
